During this time, she watched architects and interior designers shape public-facing spaces. \u201cTheir process felt creative and expressive in a way that deeply resonated with me,\u201d she says. \u201cI felt residential design would be the place where I could merge strong space planning with that sense of atmosphere and artistry, combining discipline with creativity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Friedman founded her firm in 2007, initially orchestrating single-room transformations and small-scale renovations.
