As a child, Todd Howard Ezrin spent hours building a city out of Legos. “I was fascinated by how things fit together and how order can be created from chaos,” he recalls. Family vacations in the U.S. and abroad sparked an interest in architecture and design, then study abroad, surrounded by historic and contemporary structures, solidified his interest. “These early influences continue to inform the way I approach projects,” Ezrin says, “with curiosity, intention and a desire to make life better through design.”

He founded TOBE DesignGroup in 2011. The boutique interior architecture and design firm tackles residential, multi-family residential and commercial projects nationally and internationally. “Our team brings decades of experience, allowing us to navigate complex projects with confidence,” notes Ezrin. “We believe in meaningful collaboration with clients; trust, transparency and communication guide every project.”

Community outreach and philanthropy are central tenets of the firm. ”Giving back is not an afterthought,” he says. “We support charitable initiatives and organizations that align with our belief in design as a force for good.”

Ezrin was named Best of Bethesda 2026 Readers’ Pick for Interior Designer, and was included in Designers Today’s 2025 Power List of 50 influential designers. TOBE DesignGroup received an NKBA award and two ASID awards in 2025, and two ASID awards in 2024.
