Richardson & Associates Landscape Architecture

Joseph Richardson, who hails from New Orleans, was drawn early on to his hometown’s unique setting and architecture. Fascinated by the idea of linking the built environment with the outdoor world, he earned his degree in landscape architecture and began designing and building residential gardens in New Orleans. Later, a relocation to DC gave him the opportunity to design large commercial developments and public spaces. He founded Richardson & Associates Landscape Architecture in 2014.

“Our portfolio of residential and specialty commercial projects ranges in scale from intimate urban courtyards to sprawling country estates,” Richardson says. “We provide comprehensive, personalized services that result in meaningful connections between people, architecture and the land.”
