I’ve always been fascinated by how color, texture, light and layout can completely transform the way a room feels and how people live in it,” says Laura Hildebrandt. “Even as a child, I wasn’t just thinking about how things looked—I was thinking about how they worked.”

Hildebrandt pursued a career in science before pivoting to interior design, pulled by a desire for creativity. She founded Interiors by LH as a home-staging company in 2013, but the firm’s focus evolved as clients began asking for more comprehensive design services. In 2015, Hildebrandt officially transitioned her business into a boutique design studio.

“We offer curated interiors that balance beauty, function and livability,” the designer says. “Our personalized spaces reflect clients’ lifestyles while maintaining a timeless aesthetic.”

Hildebrandt starts by gaining an understanding of how her clients live, what inspires them and what their challenges are. “We help clarify their priorities and translate their ideas into a clear, cohesive vision,” she explains. “We make the process both organized and enjoyable, combining thoughtful planning, clear communication and experienced project management to move clients from concept to completion—and ultimately into a home that feels beautifully tailored to the way they live.”
