Led by Kevin Gilday, nationally recognized Gilday Renovations has perfected a collaborative design-build process that seamlessly blends the expertise of its architects, interior designers and master craftsmen. 

Gilday established his design and construction firm in New York in 1976, later relocating to Washington, DC, to take advantage of the thriving home renovation market and to partner with extended family to build the business.

Gilday has been instrumental in developing systems and supports that provide a sound foundation. “Our finely tuned process has been field-tested and improved through hundreds of renovation projects,” he notes. 

Gilday is an accomplished designer and project leader with an eye for detail and a keen sense of potential. He and his team approach the creative process with rigor, imagining what could be—then finding a way to make it happen. “Design challenges are what make a project fun for me, “ says Gilday. “Where a client sees an obstruction or limitation, I see an invitation to creativity.” 

The strength of Gilday Renovations has always been repeat and referral business from a loyal client base, a large extended family working together, long-term employees, seamless operations and a commitment to solving residential design challenges with finesse.
