For more than 25 years, interior designer Gina Fitzsimmons has approached residential design from the inside out, shaping rooms through proportion, architectural detail and thoughtful flow. Founder and principal of Fitzsimmons Design Associates, she is known for interiors that feel composed, layered and enduring while remaining comfortable for waterfront living. “Great design begins with the architecture,” she says. “Every finish, furnishing and detail should support that framework.”

Working throughout the Chesapeake Bay region and on select projects in Florida, Fitzsimmons frequently designs homes where water, light and the surrounding landscape shape the experience of a space. Her signature “coastal casual” aesthetic balances tailored architecture with natural textures, relaxed furnishings and palettes drawn from sand, sky and water.
