Fine Earth Landscape has been creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces since 1977. The firm’s team of landscape architects and designers brings a comprehensive vision to each project, from selecting plants that thrive in particular areas to designing and building extensive landscape-construction projects. Their depth of knowledge includes everything from plantings and plant maintenance to patios, water features, retaining walls, site-grading, layout and swimming pool design and construction.

“Some of our employees have been with us over 20 years—and all 100 of them love the excitement of creating a dream landscape for our clients,” observes Joel Hafner, president and co-owner of Fine Earth.

While the firm is inspired by the work of design industry luminaries such as Edmund Hollander, Gertrude Jekyll, William Morris and Piet Oudolf, “we do not limit ourselves to any one style,” founder and co-owner Bernie Mihm points out. “We know that every client deserves an outdoor space that caters to their needs, tastes and lifestyle.”

Fine Earth has received more than 150 regional and national awards, including eight awards from the National Association of Landscape Professionals. Says Hafner, “We all agree that the greatest form of recognition is a client who’s thrilled about their project from beginning to end!”
