To Andrea Houck, a home should feel as good as it looks. The soulful yet refined spaces she creates reflect each client’s life, values and vision. “Our clients want more than beauty–they want a home that feels undeniably theirs,” Houck shares. “I believe every home should begin with a love story, and I’m honored to help clients tell theirs.”

Raised in North Carolina, Houck credits her grandmother, a decorative arts painter, with inspiring her early passion for creativity. She brings a background in art direction and the eye of a seasoned designer with 25 years of experience to each project, whether it’s a new build or a decorative makeover. “Our work blends creative instinct with meticulous attention to detail,” she offers. “We work across styles—traditional, modern, and everything in between—but always with a cohesive point of view.”

Her eponymous firm, A. Houck Designs, manages every aspect of the process, offering clients a collaborative, full-service experience. Trust is the cornerstone. “We listen first, then create spaces with intention,” the designer reveals. “Every choice is grounded in thoughtfulness, not fashion, so the results are personal and enduring. We help our clients fall in love with where they live.”
